THE PROJECT
From factory equipment.
To a shared production picture.
Built for a vendor supplying concrete railway sleepers to Indian Railways, this project connects factory production and quality records with a cloud-based web platform. It brings together stages including tensioning, mixing, casting, steam and water curing, testing and inspection.
My work covered the machine-side system software, integration APIs and cloud application. The machine-side software collects production and quality data from the equipment and passes it through APIs to the platform, where teams can review records and reports by batch or date.
The application also brings order processing, inventory, inspection documentation and shipment records into the wider manufacturing workflow. The connected equipment supplies monitoring data; the platform does not send operating commands to the machines. The supplier’s branding, customer records, production figures and private endpoints are withheld.
